Must Have Products For Your Wellness

Happy New Year friends! Wow, it feels a bit surreal that we’re already in 2017 huh? I’ve reflected quite a bit this past week on all of 2016 and the best change I made was personal wellness. When I refer to wellness it includes mental, emotional, and physical. For a few months I felt jaded due to fatigue and anxiety. I kept breaking out due to those factors, therefore my skin was a nuisance as well. Not to mention I went on a binge hunt for sweets almost everyday which lead to some gain weight! Point is, I wasn’t TRULY happy with my inner-self. On social media I remained encouraging a positive lifestyle even though I wasn’t quite living it myself. In early October, I became determined to adopt a better daily routine that would help change my overall attitude drastically.

The products I’m going to share today are all natural and great additions to your every day life! I’ll be sure to describe thoroughly how I use them and how they’ve managed to benefit me. Please note inorder to completely improve your well being, you must increase daily activity and surround yourself w. uplifting and positive individuals. No product will miraculously change your life, do your part too! πŸ™‚

*THIS POST DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY AFFILIATED LINKS OR SPONSORED ITEMS. They are products I purchased & love! Exception: Kiehl’s sent me those products to try, my opinion is still all mine.

MUST HAVE WELLNESS PRODUCTS

Apple Cider Vinegar

Some of you may go “ewwww but how can you drink this?!” Yes it’s not the greatest tasting liquid, but it certainly has saved me in many ways! It contains antioxidant properties, it’s helped w. bloating (AND weight-loss), helps upset stomach, relieves heartburn, & so many others great benefits! This has definitely given me a extra boost of energy early in the morning as well. I either drink it with lemon water or raw honey prior to eating breakfast! This could upset a sensitive stomach so I definitely recommend being cautious about it. Not only has it helped my tummy feel lighter, but I mix it in with my facial masks too since it cures blemishes/acne! ACV is just freaking amazing and it’s one of those products you need in your cabinet (plus crazy affordable!) You can find this same one HERE.

As long as it contains MOTHER and is organic + unfiltered you should be good to go!

Herbal Wellness Teas

These two tea brands Yogi & Celestial are my all time favorite since I started college back in 2012! I probably own 10 different blends of each brand. Not sure why I stopped drinking tea for a while, but now my daily day & night routine isn’t complete without these babies. The Vanilla Spice blend is my AM go to, what coffee means to some of you this means to me! I love that it contains caffeine and all the natural ingredients for a “perfect energy boost”.

I drink this after my workouts along with my food for an ultimate power breakfast meal. I’ve noticed that I’m not as anxious throughout the day anymore and this simply makes me feel full of life! I drink it alone no added honey or lemon. You can buy this tea HERE.

At nighttime, I would find it a little bit uneasy for me to relax and sleep at a decent hour. Well, since I started drinking the honey chamomile blend w. coconut milk this isn’t an issue! Honestly I prefer this over their Sleepy Time blends. I always mix in the coconut milk a minute after I add the tea bag to boiling water. A splash of raw-honey makes it taste even more amazing! If you’re currently experiencing daily stress or can’t seem to unwind, this is for you! You can buy this tea HERE.

Be sure to check out their sites for other wellness blends that you’ll love! They offer a wide variety all with amazing benefits for your overall health!

 Coconut Oil

How predictable huh?! I’ve jumped on the coconut oil bandwagon! When I first heard everyone raving about this product I wasn’t too sure how to feel about it. I mean, could it REALLY be THAT amazing? Well friends, it is! I have found myself using coconut oil for my hair, eyelashes + brows, skin, and for cooking! This is great to use after you shower for extra smooth skin & healthy looking hair! I have replaced my lotion and my hair oil too! Coconut oil is so much better for your body and skin than drug store products full of harsh chemicals. I remove my eye makeup and eyebrow fill-in with this as well.

When I’m cooking just about anything I’m sure to use this instead of vegetable or canola oil (virgin olive oil is great too)! Coconut oil is loaded with lots of health benefits so make sure you use the UNFILTERED + ORGANIC coconut oil for greater results! Oddly, I couldn’t find a reasonable link for this specific item, but you can buy this at your local Target or Walmart.

Kiehl’s Wash + Moisturizer

Taking proper care of your skin is absolutely vital to feeling good about yourself! I know there’s literally thousands of skin care companies out there that’ll try to sell you the idea of miracle products. Well, that’s not the case here. Kiehl’s is an all natural brand that has truly helped regulate my skin. These two products didn’t necessarily get rid of my acne, but they sure do keep the nasty’s away! If you’re looking for something that will go deep into your pores and remove the dullness and thoroughly clean your face, this Calendula foaming wash is your answer! My face has been clear, bright, and radiant thanks to these items.

With the ultra-facial moisturizer, a little goes a long way! I have received plenty of compliments on my skin since I started using them. How do I use them? At night this is what I wash my face with, then I follow with toner & night cream. In the morning after my wash, I apply my brightening serum, then a thin layer of the moisturizer. Simple, yet very effective! Buy the wash HERE and moisturizer HERE.

Witch Hazel Toner

This is an oldie, but goldie. I remember using this toner throughout late high school and for some reason discontinued it. I suffered from acne after I had Kaden for about a year or so and along with Batty’s Bath acne kit I used this too. My acne is completely GONE. I no longer use Batty’s Bath, but this has been an essential for me. I dampen a cotton pad after using my Kiehl’s wash at night and rub it gently all over my face. Thanks to this witch hazel my skin is free of blemishes & inflammation. I wake up each morning feeling radiant, and c’mon whose self esteem wouldn’t boost because of that?! You can purchase this brand HERE.

Well guys this sums up my daily natural products that have improved my self-esteem and helped me feel better overall. It’s best to choose healthier options to optimize your wellness every day! Start by being more conscious, make smaller changes, and slowly transition into better habits! I hope this has encouraged you to be more mindful about your wellness/health. Let me know if you’ve tried these or what some of your favorite products are! I’ll be back soon on the blog with my specific daily routine that has helped balance a good diet & healthy mindset, stay tuned! xx

I’ve really struggled with my skin since having my third baby last year. I was in a great routine taking ACV and coconut oil, too, but have fallen out of it. Thanks for the inspiration to clean up my habits (and hopefully my skin!) Will have to check out the skincare line, too!

    • dianasamantha

That’s what happened with the witch hazel for me but I’m so happy I adopted the habit of doing it again. I’m glad this could resonate with you as well. But yes check out Kiehl’s! You will LOVE them. xx
