Hi guys! I’m so excited to share with you my new hair! It’s not anything drastic, so don’t expect something crazy. My hair is literally my safe blanket which is why I chose to do a subtle change and gradually increase it. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something new before my trip to NYC + FLA next week!
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Bliss Beauty Bar salon located in Ofallon, MO which is the greater St. Louis area. The ladies specialize in bridal division and offer a wide variety of bride packages. All their services (hair, makeup, etc) can be done in their unique bridal suite as well. Katie & Sarah, owners, opened Bliss Beauty Bars salon in May 2015. They also educate on Alterna beauty and provide an instructor at their location for the Redken brand. Their team is composed of highly talented and trained gals, so you’re always in great hands!
Walking into the salon you instantly fall in love with the chic decor. The environment feels clean and comfortable, which is a huge thing for me! The design is also very nicely curated and minimal. Everyone I met was friendly and made my experience pleasant. Every corner in the salon makes you think of a pretty wonderland, the simplicity enhances the elegance for sure.
I was ecstatic when I met the lady that was going to take care of my hair. Abbey was the sweetest girl and her hair was fabulous! I couldn’t have been more confident that I was going to leave highly satisfied! Not sure about you guys but establishing a good connection with my hair stylist is key for me. Prior to Bliss Beauty I didn’t click so well with anyone at a salon, hence why I rarely got my hair “professionally” done. Abbey simply made sure to give my hair exactly what it needed! She didn’t rush through the process at all. Someone who can thoroughly answer all my “hair/beauty” questions definitely gets an A+ in my beauty book!
After a few hours, these were the grand results! As I mentioned above, I wanted something different yet minimal. Which is why I went with a partial baylage. Dark caramel on black hair is so gorgeous to me! I absolutely can’t wait to add more color during the Fall. I’m excited to visit NYC and attend my friends event in Florida, because it’s literally been years since I’ve had something else than just black hair.
Let me know what you guys think, should I keep the same color or go lighter?!
Well huge thanks to my girl Abbey for hooking me up though, and really appreciate Bliss Beauty for collaborating with me! Thanks for stopping by!
