Updated Nighttime Skincare Routine

I thought it’d be a good idea to change up my nighttime products since I am breastfeeding again. The reason being is that my hormones tend to be all out of wack and I become more prone to dullness/blemishes on my skin during this time.

I’ve been using these ZenMed products religiously for over a month now & I’m happy that I haven’t seen ONE pimple on my skin since (knocks on wood). This is a doctor formulated holistic skin care line. ZenMed products are made by using a combination of natural, pharmaceutical-grade ingredients mixed with vitamins, minerals, and essential oils.

All natural per usual, since that’s the standard I like to keep when it comes to products I apply to my skin.

Anyway, I’ll definitely link each item below if you’re interested in reading more!

*Not all their products are breastfeeding/pregnancy friendly but these three were sent to me for that reason.

ZenMed Nighttime Routine

Facial Cleansing Gel

This is what I use in the shower every night to clean my face. Aside from it being very gentle on my skin (its especially formulated for sensitive skin), I can see how it thoroughly cleanses my face after every use. A gel formula is best when it comes to a face wash because it’s light weight & never clogs up my pores. Love that it clears away the excessive oils but leaves my skin moisturized too. This is similar to the one step Purity wash by Philosophy; except this ZenMed cleanser is ALL natural, paraben/chemical free, & vegan. The ingredients are safe for both pregnant AND breastfeeding mamas as well.

Microdermabrasion Complex

This product is a NEW ESSENTIAL for me! You’re only supposed to use it 2-3xs a week at the beginning, and then 5 days on and 5 days off. I am amazed with the way it makes my skin feel instantly after use. My face is so much softer (like a baby’s bottom) and leaves a smooth texture + appearance. It simply renews & improves skin tone as it is supposed to (as soon as you use it!). The overall quality is great, I personally love exfoliating formulas which is why this is probably my favorite out of the three. If you battle with dull/blemish scarred skin then I highly recommend it. A little for me has gone a long way!

L-Ascorbic Booster Serum

I live for nigh time serums! After I tone my face, I use this every night as well. This serum in particular has plumped my skin/improved darker spots near my cheeks. It is loaded with collagen to enhance a more radiant and firmer look as well. The vitamin C really helps with environmental damage & is something to always look for in nighttime serums/oils. To be honest, this is a little thicker than I prefer but I have seen actual results these past few weeks which is why I’ve continued to use lol. Afterwards, I follow with a hydrating mist instead of a hydrating cream.

Well there you have it guys! Quite a simple and effective routine. Even though I am skincare obsessed and always on the look out to try different products, this will likely be my PM regimen for a while. Did you switch up your skin products during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

All thanks to ZenMed for sponsoring this post! All the opinions/thoughts are my own.
